Meet Attorney Kelley Lewis
Supporting business clients through communication, strategy, and results.
With over a decade of legal expertise in business law, construction law, government relations and more, Kelley Lewis understands the nuances of the legal landscape — but most importantly, she knows how to help her clients gain confidence in understanding the issues and certainty in their choices.
Down to earth and highly capable, Kelley has earned a reputation for getting results while creating a positive experience for her clients. She is uniquely able to create an effective strategy, roll up her sleeves, and get things done. Kelley's professionalism and tenacity are matched only by her passion for connecting with people — she makes sure each individual is heard, understood, and supported. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail and dedication to understanding and supporting their best interests.
Kelley is known for her passion for her work, and her innate curiosity. She embraces each challenge as an opportunity to help solve a problem and learn something new.
I have always been at home in the West — I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and raised in Denver, Colorado. My dad was an attorney, but I wouldn't say I just followed in his footsteps — since I was a little girl, everyone told me I was good at arguing, and that love of negotiation eventually led me to pursue my path in law. I identify just as much as an entrepreneur as a lawyer, and in every entrepreneur I work with, every business owner or organization, everyone who rolls up their sleeves, blazes their own trail, and creates their own path in business and in life, I see a bit of myself. That mindset — of having a dream and going after it — inspires me to do everything in my power to help my clients succeed.
Experienced, dedicated, and community-focused.
Kelley Lewis draws from experience in public and private service and leadership positions — weaving together expertise from previous roles as a Senior Policy Advisor and Capitol Hill staffer along with diverse work in the public and private energy sectors, extensive lobbying and advocacy experience in legislative and regulatory fields, and legal training as a corporate attorney. The Secretary of the Interior appointed her to the Missouri Basin Resource Advisory Council for the Bureau of Land Management, where she currently serves as Vice Chair.
Today, Kelley Lewis leads KLH Advisors, an independent women-owned law firm dedicated to providing streamlined outside counsel and legal guidance for a wide range of clients — from individuals to small and midsize businesses and organizations.
Kelley Lewis also works to support women business owners and entrepreneurs in her local community through leadership and networking events, masterminds, training workshops, and more. She serves on the Montana Women’s Business Center board and is a proud member of Prospera, the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce, and Sky Oro.

Clare Ols, Attorney at Law
Clare brings to her legal work years of experience in the non-profit and conservation sectors. Prior to law school, she worked as a biologist both in Montana and in Latin America leading restoration projects to preserve wildlife habitat, improve landscape connectivity, and strengthen local communities. This work not only built Clare’s experience navigating permitting and project management, but also facilitating communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups. She utilizes this experience in her legal career to guide clients through complex transactions and to craft innovative solutions in what can often be an adversarial process.
As a law student at the University of Montana, Clare gained significant hands-on legal experience serving as an extern in the United States District Court for the District of Montana and as a clerk to the Chief Water Judge of the Montana Water Court. This experience and her subsequent professional legal work provide her with a strong foundation in water rights adjudication and permitting, land use and real property transactions, and civil litigation. Having also practiced in estate planning and probate administration, Clare is familiar with the nuances of a client’s unique needs and perspectives. Outside of law, she remains involved in natural resources conservation initiatives throughout Montana, including the development of one of the first volunteer water quality monitoring projects in central Montana.
